My First Microblading Experience at Zbrows Artistry in San Gabriel, California
前言 | Introduction
因為天生眉型下垂且眉峰較高，我總是覺得自己不畫眉毛出門就看起來很喪。外加自己本身眉型並不對襯，右邊眉型比左邊稍高。如果不好好修整就會呈現三角眉，也因為如此我已經想霧眉很久了。
Due to the natural drooping shape and higher brow peak, I always feel like I look dull if I go out without drawing my eyebrows. In addition, my natural eyebrow shape doesn't match well; the right eyebrow is slightly higher than the left. Without proper grooming, it would result in a triangular brow shape, which is why I've been thinking about getting microblading for a long time.
之前住在芝加哥的時候，那邊的選擇並沒有那麽多。結果就這樣給我糾結猶豫了2-3年都沒有真正的下定決心搞。最近搬來洛杉磯後，我才真正的開始找資料。小紅書真的是搜尋功能強大，不用花太多時間就找到了很多間店家。
When I resided in Chicago, the available options were comparatively limited. I grappled with indecision and hesitancy for 2-3 years without reaching a final decision. However, upon relocating to Los Angeles, I initiated thorough research, leveraging Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book). This Chinese app, akin to Instagram, has gained recent popularity, particularly for its robust search engine. Thanks to this platform, I efficiently discovered numerous microblading stores without investing an excessive amount of time.

店家於2024年2月，從San Gabriel搬到Diamond Bar。目前在Grid Coffee的那個廣場裡面。
The shop has relocated from San Gabriel to Diamond Bar, now situated inside the plaza where Grid Coffee is located in Diamond Bar. You can take the stairs to go up to the second floor and walk to Unit O.

在施作開始之前，Zoe花了很多時間跟我討論我喜歡的眉型等等。溝通完後, Zoe會用眉筆和修眉刀在臉上勾勒出眉型。整個過程都會持續問我的意見。調到最後，眉型畫出來的樣子就是霧眉完後會呈現出來的效果。Zoe的審美感真的超級好，還沒開始霧我就已經完全愛上他給我修整後的樣子。
Before the microblading session started, Zoe dedicated a lot of time to discuss my preferred eyebrow shape and other details with me. Following our discussion, Zoe utilized an eyebrow pencil and tweezers to outline the desired shape on my face. Consistently seeking my input throughout the process, she ensured that the outcome reflected the results I envisioned post-microblading. Zoe's aesthetic sense truly shines, achieving the neutral look I sought. I fell in love with the result even before the microblading process started.

敷完麻藥後，就是正常的施作過程。先選擇霧眉顏色，霧眉過程會不斷讓你拿鏡子照看並詢問有什麽需要調整的。會一直不段微調修整。霧眉結果非常的自然。選的霧眉顏色本身就跟我的毛發顏色相近，朋友都認不出我去做了霧眉。感覺這個寶藏店家不推薦實在是太可惜了。
After applying anesthesia, the normal procedure followed. First, the color of the microblading was chosen, and throughout the process, I was constantly asked to check in the mirror and provide feedback on any adjustments needed. The microblading result is very natural. The chosen color matches my natural hair color. Especially, my friends can't even tell that I had microblading done thereafter. It's a pity not to recommend this hidden gem of a shop in San Gabriel.
註２：這次霧眉的過程是我男朋友帶我去的，店內有一區是可供等待辦公用。原本我男友是預計去附近的咖啡廳等我，後面直接在店裏面陪我了。
Note 2: My boyfriend accompanied me for this microblading session, and there's a waiting area inside the store for use. Originally, my boyfriend planned to wait for me at a nearby cafe, but he ended up staying with me inside the store.
註３：施作時長根據每個人的情況都不一樣，我總時常大概花了2.5小時。
Note 3: The duration of the procedure varies for each person; in my case, it took about 2.5 hours.
註４：霧眉後三個月內可以免費補色一次。Zoe跟我說她也有提供免費修眉，所以我後面如果碰到問題都可以問她。
Note 4: Within three months after microblading, you can get a free touch-up. Zoe mentioned that she also provides free eyebrow threading services for her customers, so I can ask her anytime if I encounter any issues later.
